The owner of a Glue Smart Lock can assign three different access levels to shared keys.
Guest:
- Can only use your Glue Smart Lock for a predetermined time
- Can only see their own history in the recent activity log
- Cannot send digital keys
- Can only operate the lock locally using Bluetooth, not remotely.
Resident:
- Can always use your Glue Smart Lock
- Can only see their own history in the recent activity log
- Cannot send digital keys
- Can only operate the lock locally using Bluetooth, not remotely.
Owner:
- Can always use your Glue Smart Lock
- Has access to the complete Recent Activity Log and any history
- Can send digital keys
- Can operate the lock locally using Bluetooth and remotely.
How do I give digital keys?
1. When on the home page of the Glue app, swipe up
2. Under "Keyholders" you can see current users, and a + where it says "Invite" underneath
3. Choose permission level - owner, resident or guest
2. Click 'Send Invite'
